since i graduated from Futa last year, i have been finding it very difficult to properly administrate, manage and promote the forum, as i have not been in Akure since graduating.
moreso i would be proceeding for my youth service by March 2010 and hence i might have time or chance to continue managing the forum since i am no longer in futa.
it is because of this that i have to let go of the forum for fellow students/Nigerians or those around futa to own, manage and promote the forum.
the sale is with immediate effect and i would then give the potential buyer the administrator username and password.
FORUM ECONOMIC REVENUE
futastudents.com forum is generating its revenue mainly from the google adsense adverts the appear on various sections with an average of about $2 - $5 daily depending on the amount traffic that comes daily.
When you earnings reaches at least $100 within the month, you get a check from Google which you can easily cash in any Nigerian bank.
Note: please note that the potential buyer must first sign up free with
www.google.com/adsense in order to be a google adsense publisher so as to be able to show adverts on the forum. The adverts showing on the forum are from my google adsense account which i would remove on selling the forum.
Other sources of forum revenue are through classified adverts which you are also seeing on the forum below the menu bar.
FORUM PROMOTION
the forum is growing steadily on membership base, but periodically the forum need formal advertisement or promotion which i normally did when i was still in futa.
ways of promoting the forum are:
1. telling friends and coursemate
2. pasting posters and banners around
3. advertisement through the internet, newspapers e.t.c.
SALE PROCEDURE
the forum is to be sold on highest bidder format and the highest bidder on payment gets the forum admin username, password as well as website hosting Cpanel details.
i don't really know where bidding may start/end, but the start up point is around N7,000
